Face it: Motherhood isn’t always sexy. Well, it can be. But, right now, I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about the vomit, piss and doo-doo, runny noses, running after your child as he defiantly sticks his tongue out at you and jumps in the mud. Like an animal. Take heart, Mom. He'll soon become a teenager, and all this will seem like a piece of cake. This is what you’ve signed up for. But just watch this video – orangutan kiddos are defiant, too. As are other species. And, as always, Mom is there to respond accordingly.
My point: Make sure you’re feeling sexy, too. How? That’s not for me to tell you, but for you to find out. I will say that there is nothing sexier than a mama who knows herself. Her likes and dislikes. Who is brave, vulnerable, who struts her stuff confident in her imperfections. Having a partner doesn’t even enter into the equation.
