Hillary Rodham Clinton 2016: What We Have Learned From the First Woman U.S. Presidential Nominee by Sujata Gazder

We have just come through one of the most divisive elections for President of the United States where half the country feels vindicated, while the other feel angry and lost. But a wonderful thing to come out of this election is our first woman presidential nominee. Even if she has not broken that glass ceiling, she has shown us and our children that women can do anything they set their minds to.

Our daughters can now dream of being that first woman president of the United States, and soon one of them will be. Our sons will respect women as individuals and not just daughters, wives or mothers. We have also learned a few important things through HRC – we should take those risks to fulfill our dreams, to satisfy our own souls, because when we do we will be able to inspire our children to soar as well.
