Is your address book filled with cross outs, arrows and Post-Its? Treat yourself to a new one keep these tips in mind!
- Keep only basic information for each person, like their cell, landline and one e-mail address.
- Put the rest of their information in the contacts on your computer.
- Have a quick talk with your spouse about who you would want him to notify if you're ever sick or injured – like your boss or best friend – and put a star next to each of those names in the book, with a note explaining the reason for the star.
- Always keep your address book in a specific place, like a top desk drawer. Try to remember to put it back where it belongs. It's no good to you or anyone else if it's hiding under your couch!
