It seems that it doesn't matter how many new toys or books you buy, your kids still have the same one or two favorites that you get tired of. Or, most likely, they would much rather play with someone else's toys! 

My solution? 

Gather the toys, books, games and CDs that you and your kids are tired of and exchange them with their cousins or friends of the same age group for a few weeks. The old becomes new, and once you get your old things back, they seem dear and fun again. If they’ve grown out of these items, gift them to others to start the exchange game.
