The Gem Foundation Christmas 2020: 79 Christmas Baskets Deliver 79 Amazing Smiles Make a Difference

Seventy-nine baskets brought 79 hugs smiles to our staff at The Gem Foundation. The Gem Foundation provides 24 care to special needs children in Uganda. The nannies work tirelessly feeding, bathing, dressing, changing, teaching and loving the Gems. They have a unique bond with the Gems, often singing praises, playing the drums and making them laugh.

During our staff 2020 Christmas party we gifted 79 baskets filled with a huge Christmas meal to each staff member for their family. The joy was contagious! It is not easy for Ugandans to provide such a wonderful meal and we wanted to express to our staff that we care about them and their families.

Our staff is amazing and we sought to honor them in such a way that their children and spouses would would be proud of, bringing home the Christmas meal. Take one look at their smiles and celebrate - mission accomplished! Good chance we just fed about 800 people Christmas dinner! What a privilege!
