Pack Attack From the Cub Scouts: Here's a Fun Way to Raise Money for Your Organization & Support the Cub Scouts Make a Difference

“Do your best.” This Cub Scout motto drives kindergarteners through fifth graders to do just that. The Cub Scouts teach duty to God and country and to obey the scout law, like being friendly, helpful, thrifty and reverent. Our local pack came up with a fun way to display the scout law, while raising funds for camping trips and den meeting supplies.

We created 20 yard signs, displaying the 12 characteristics of the scout law, paw prints, pack number, den names and more. For a donation of only $10, you can "pack attack" your neighbors. Signs will be placed in their yard for 24 hours, then moved to the next pack-attacked lawn. (We won’t tell who paid for the pack attack, scout’s honor!)

The signs move around the neighborhood as friends and neighbors donate funds to our pack PayPal, but we have all the fun sneaking around with this contact-free prank. All we needed was a pack of yellow yard signs, a crafty momma on the vinyl cutter and some good laughter at sundown.

What a great idea, Tiffany Zook ! Kind of like those flamingo "attacks" we see around here. :-) Wish we would have thought of this when I was a Girl Scout leader.
