Patriotic Red, White & Blue Flowers for July 4th Could Not Be Easier Holidays Entertaining Home Activities

Decorating your home for July 4th doesn't have to cost a lot of money. Most of us already have mason jars or small vases and food coloring in the house, so all you'll need to pick up for these easy patriotic flower arrangements is white flowers. Any solid white flower will work β€“ stock (pictured), carnations, roses, gerber daisies, hydrangeas, etc.

The flowers slowly begin to turn the color of the water, so if you want them that way for your get-together, make the flower arrangements a couple days before. I loved how they looked being all white when the party started, but slowly started to turn during the festivities. It was fun checking on their progress. And I literally made the flower arrangements from start to finish in less than five minutes.

You'll need:

Here's how to make them:

  1. Cut your flowers to fit into your mason jars.
  2. Add water to the jars.
  3. Color the water in one with a few drops of red food coloring and blue in another. Leave one as is.
  4. Insert your flowers. Done!
