Transgender Kids: The Boy Scouts of America Addresses Gender Identity Headlines

For over 100 years the Boy Scouts of America has deferred to the gender listed on a child's birth certificate to determine eligibility for its boys-only programming. Until now. The organization will now allow transgender children who identify as boys to participate in its programs.

According to Rebecca Rausch, a spokesperson for the Boy Scouts, the change was made in response to "the national conversation about gender identity." The organization made headlines in 2015 when leaders lifted the ban on gay employees and troop leaders.

Why not just let all kids ! Same with Girl Scouts! They should just combine like they done in other counties
