My kids now think I'm the coolest mom ever! I love participating in product reviews, but rarely do my kids get as excited as they did when reviewing the VersaHoop! VersaHoop is a completely customizable mini basketball hoop company. My boys were able to design their own portable hoop, which I kid you not, can stick on, clamp on or hook on to anything! Seriously, from the bedroom door to an outdoor trampoline, to our boat in the summer. The website is super user-friendly and the boys designed their custom hoop in a matter of minutes.
Unlike other basketball hoops we've had this one is super easy to install. The one they designed came with a hook that easily allows the hoop to hang over their door as well as a clamp for when we move it outside. To assemble, we just had to place four bolts into the holes that are in the backboard. Then, you add the mounting hook on the back side of the backboard and tighten the bolts. The rim and net snapped in easily and we had no problems adding air to the ball that comes with the set. It should be noted that you do need to blow up the basketball and a pump is not included. But in no time, they were off to play.
The hoop seems extremely durable and strong. Due to the extreme weather the last few days, my 10-year-old and his 15-year-old brother have spent hours dunking and shooting on the hoop and it's held up great. Best of all, it kept them off their screens and they had a great time together despite being trapped in doors. This is definitely one item that will keep them busy indoors all winter and can then be moved outdoors in Spring!
