As children enter school, you will be bombarded with acronyms that sound like alphabet soup. Empower yourself with knowledge. 

  • ask questions
  • stay informed
  • if something doesn't make sense or sound right, be a strong advocate for your child by staying involved

Parents can always request a meeting to discuss their children's progress, you don't have to confine yourself to the scheduled parent/teacher conferences.
