Tired of Stepping on LEGOs? Try This Creative DIY LEGO Storage Solution! DIY

Feet sore from stepping on LEGO blocks? Make your own LEGO table! I’d been drooling over these tables on Pinterest, and finally decided to make my own.

You'll need:

  • old end table
  • basket
  • sandpaper
  • paint
  • LEGO board
  • power saw (or friend who has one!)

I already had the basket and LEGO board, and picked up the end table for just $15. Because I didn’t want to use power tools, I had a friend cut out the opening for the basket. After purchasing sandpaper and spray paint, I was ready to get to work! I chose to paint the legs a different color than the table, and I’m happy with the result.

For little money and minimal effort, my boys ended up with a custom table they’ll enjoy for many years!

Ann Marie Gardinier Halstead this is crazy creative! I've lost count on how many legos I've stepped on.

Thank you, ladies! I have to say I was pretty pleased with the final product, and thrilled that I made it for far less than I would have paid for the mass-produced tables I've seen online! Trevor loves it, and even big brother was impressed. :)

We just scored a coffee table at a yard sale for $20...now to create our table! Thanks for the great tip AM!! (if I waited until tonight, the table may have been put out at the curb, but I was feeling generous!) I'll post photo when it's complete.
