Got Teeth? The Do's & Don'ts of Helping Your Baby Get Through Teething!

Teething is a difficult time for babies and parents alike. How can you help your baby?

First, what NOT to do:

  • Avoid teething medications containing benzocaine. In rare but serious instances, this medication can cause a dangerous blood disorder called methemoglobinemia, where the body cannot get enough oxygen. It also can cause numbing in the throat, which can lead to choking.

Better options include:

  • refrigerated teething rings
  • rubbing the child’s gums with a clean finger

It's a difficult time, but soon those teeth will make their appearance for that photo op!

I often hear that people aren't trusting Amber products for their babies. But I don't know why is that? I love Amber necklaces and using them all day, all night. :D I want to share one article about myths or truths about amber products. (link below). I hope you will find out something new.
