A Simple Way to Keep Track of Kids' Summer Essentials (You Probably Have This Organizer in Your Closet Already!) by Christine Jones

Keeping track of my kids' summer essentials can be challenging. I don't want to hear, "Mom where are my goggles?" every day before swim team practice. A great organizational tool is a shoe organizer bag. Hang one in your garage or mudroom and fill the pockets with

  • sunscreen
  • bug spray
  • goggles
  • bandages
  • sidewalk chalk
  • bubbles
  • whatever else your kids use on a daily basis

That way you'll have everything at hand. For older kids, have them put their items back in the pockets when they get home It's a great way for children to learn to keep track of their stuff and take responsibility!
