The holidays have gotten way too busy. With so many activities and events, it can get in the way of a meaningful holiday. If you're looking for more peace, ask each of your kids which holiday traditions matter most. Then, do those things and let the rest go.

For my kids "having our family over Christmas Eve," and "reading a Christmas story each night" were at the top of the list. It's simple to recapture the meaning of the holidays: family togetherness, charity and love.
