How to Clean Kid's Bath Toys Naturally to Prevent Mold & Mildew

Kids love to play with toys in the tub during bath time, but when they aren’t in use, toys need a chance to dry out to prevent the spread of mold and mildew. Here are some tips!

  • To dry our toys, I place them inside a mesh bag that hangs over the tub by suction cups.
  • Bath toys, especially ones with holes on the bottom, should be inspected and cleaned on a regular basis since water can still be trapped inside.
  • You can clean toys by submerging them in four parts of vinegar and one part of water and use a toothbrush around the crevices.
  • Be sure to toss any toys that have any goopy mold coming out of the opening!

Don't invite mold and mildew to bath time!
