Women Business Owners: 4 Tips for Starting Your Own Business From a "Mompreneur!"

I interviewed Rosa Mann, owner of the successful online gift and accessory boutique The Ivy Trellis. Mann shared a few nuggets of her "mompreneur" wisdom with me! Here are some pointers for others interested in starting a business:

  • You cannot be all things to all people.
  • Business is business; you need to not be emotionally attached to it.
  • Sometimes you need to take negative experiences or problems and simply figure out a way to turn them around.
  • She also adores the book "Who Moved My Cheese," calling it is a must-read for any entrepreneur.

Hope her advice helps anyone who wants to be an entrepreneur, too!
