Summer Break: 3 Reasons Kids Need Unstructured Play & Free Time

Busy moms can sometimes over-organize their children's lives during the summer with camp, activities and too much academics. My thought is to allow children to take a real break during their vacation. Unstructured play and free time are essential in building:

  • imagination
  • problem-solving
  • self-regulation

Think Christopher Robin and Huck Finn. Allow exploration and creation. This summer, give your children the free space to just be kids.
