Parenting a toddler through the "terrible twos" can be extremely difficult. The challenging behaviors your toddler may exhibit can occur for many reasons. Here are four! 

  • Your toddler wants something he can't communicate yet or can't have. 
  • She wants your attention
  • He wants to escape a situation or wants an activity to end. 
  • Whatever the behavior is, it just feels good to do

Whatever the reason, teaching your toddler to communicate in a clear way can lessen some of those challenging behaviors or tantrums!
