Think Your Baby is Teething? Why It Might Not Be the Case!

Around 3 to 6 months, babies want to explore the world around them. The best way for them to do that is to use as many senses as possible, including taste. Many parents think if babies put everything into the mouth they are teething, but this isn’t always true.

Until about 7 months babies don’t have good control of their hands, but they do have control over their lips, tongue and gums. Also, a baby’s mouth has more nerve endings than any other part of the body. So, your baby is most likely putting objects into his mouth to explore and understand them.
