If Your Teen Does This in the Car, They Could Get Hurt! Safety

When I saw a teen riding with his leg out the window, I knew it was time for a reminder about car safety. We know not to let kids put their feet on the dashboard (see tip below), but it may be time to sit down and remind teens that sitting properly in a car could save their lives (or limbs).

An airbag can go off in as little as a 25 mph crash, and does not take into account where a child’s legs are at the time. Tell your teens to look cool some other place, and keep their feet on the floor in the car!

Great to see you here, Candy Stephens! That picture was taken on Mason Rd. Scary! Hope you have some tips to share for the tribe. I personally know you are a wealth of knowledge!
