How to Stop Germs From Spreading: Do Your Kids Know Their CCCs? Kids' Health Family Health

In school, your kids learn their ABCs. At home, it's also important that they learn their CCCs. Why? It helps them understand how to help keep germs at bay. Here are the CCCs:

  • Clean: Wash your hands and have your children wash their hands frequently.
  • Cover: Use your elbow or facial tissue to cover your cough or sneeze.
  • Contain: Contain your germs by staying home if you are sick.

Have your children practice until they get in the habit of their CCCs.
