Fitness Resolutions for the New Year: Here's My Challenge to Seasoned Gym Goers Fitness

With 2019 right around the corner, I thought it would be a great time to talk about how people who make resolutions can impact the gym. Lots of folks like to dedicate their New Year’s resolution to better health. With that being said, gyms can get a little crowded. I know it’s frustrating to have to wait to use equipment, especially when people are strapped for time.

Here is my challenge to you: Be kind, be patient and be welcoming.

Remember, we all had our first day. We all have had moments where we didn’t know what we were doing. Honestly, it takes a lot of courage to walk into a gym for the first time. Let’s help motivate new members to keep coming back and to make this a long-term commitment.

If you see someone new, say hello. If you see them doing something wrong, help them or direct them to someone who can. Let’s support each other. Let’s keep the gym a fun place, and who knows, you’ll probably make a new friend in the process.
