Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disabling disease of the central nervous system. The disease disrupts the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and body. Some of the common symptoms of MS include:

  • fatigue
  • walking difficulties
  • numbness or tingling
  • spasticity (stiffness/muscle spasms)
  • weakness
  • vision problems
  • dizziness/vertigo
  • bladder, sexual and bowel problems
  • pain
  • cognitive changes
  • emotional changes 
  • depression
