Put the Squeeze on Juice for Health & Weight Loss (Don’t Drink Your Calories)! by Dr. Bridget Boyd

Juice is full of empty calories and sugar. Cutting out juice can help aid weight loss and encourage a healthy lifestyle. It’s also better for your teeth to drink water. Instead of juice, eat a serving of fruits or vegetables – they contain vitamins as well as fiber.
What about kids? Kids should drink no more than 4 to 6 ounces of juice per day, but I recommend saving it for a special occasion. Watering down juice can be dangerous, as it offers continuous sugar to children's teeth that can lead to decay.
