One in five women experience depression, but many feel they can't talk about it because of the stigma surrounding it. Some of the most wonderful and successful people suffer from depression. I know, because I'm one of them. 

Depression can look and feel differently for each of us, and you can't always tell if someone's depressed just by looking. So, ask. If you're suffering from depression, ask for help. If you love someone who's suffering, ask, "What is it like?" and "What can I do to support you?"
