If you need more positive energy, let the sun smile on you! The next time the sun is shining, grab the kids and head outside for the day. Sunshine is a natural mood-lifter because it increases both serotonin and melatonin levels in your body, which helps to regulate proper sleep cycles as well as improve your mood and energy level. Just be sure not to overdo it. 

  • Play it safe in the sun by slathering on that sunscreen or block. 
  • Use sunglasses for comfort, but take them off when you can – exposing your eyes to the sun gives you the same benefits but is better for your skin.
