If you have been swallowed by sorrow and it is as if the connection between knowing of how and what to do has been clipped from the motivation and desire to act, you might be in the state of depression. Perhaps the next steps to take are:
- Admit to yourself that you might be depressed
- Share your discovery out loud with others even if you are not 100 percent sure
- Give yourself a permission to be in that state
- Accept it and be OK with it without judging yourself
You are allowed to feel whatever you are feeling and you are permitted to just be. Accepting the state you are in will create space to let go of whatever led you to this state. With time you will discover the desire and ability to act again and you’ll accomplish things once more.
