Snacks Are Just as Important as Meals? Yes! Here's the Healthy Reason Why...

Don't look at snacks as "snacks," look at them as mini-meals. You should try to squeeze as much nutrition into every meal as you can. Remember, your body uses up nutrition, but it stores junk. 

Ditch the crackers and fluff food and get your protein and good carbs, even if it’s just in snack form. Apples and peanut butter (any kind of nut butter), fruit and nuts, fruit with Greek yogurt, quick turkey wrap in a whole grain pita, lentils and veggies, or even chicken and a sweet potato. 

Snacks are nourishment just like every other meal and an opportunity for you to feed your fitness!
