Have Low Self-esteem Issues? You'll Be Surprised at Who Should Be Your Best Friend!

You wouldn’t tell a friend that you care about:

  • “You are stupid."
  • "You are ugly."
  • "You are fat."
  • "You are old."
  • "You can’t do it.”

Would you? We encourage our friends and support them. So why is it acceptable for us to be cruel toward ourselves, possibly even more than we would be toward our worst enemy?

When was the last time you said all the ugly things that you tell yourself in your head to someone else? Next time you hear the inner voice saying things to you that are not positive and encouraging,

STOP!

Be your own best friend, then listen to that voice and see what it tells you about the same things instead.
