Need Motivation to Change a Habit or Reach a Health or Fitness Goal? Try This!

How many times have you planned to practice yoga, go to the gym or eat a healthy diet and failed? Scientists are learning why it can be so hard to change old - or create new - habits. A Duke University study found that with training we can activate the critical area of the brain for motivation. By practicing motivating thoughts we can light up the middle area of the brain responsible for motivation. 

Try finding what memories or dreams get your mojo going and meditate on those thoughts. You just may find yourself at the gym or eating a salad!
