Pyramid Fitness Training: Here’s Why It’s a Great Workout!

Pyramid workouts are short but intense. You can end up completing a higher level workout because you really fatigue and push the muscles you use. Pyramid workouts can be done with weights, fitness equipment or your own body weight. 

Simply pick a number to start with, then either increase or decrease the next number. You can do increments of 5-10-20, or just one by one. Then pick which exercise you'll complete: you can pick one, two or three. Examples: 

  • 10-15-20-25-20-25-10
  • 10-15-20-25-30-35
  • 10-20-30-40-50-60

You can do squats, leg lifts, sit-ups, etc. The options are endless and the workout is satisfying!
