Nosebleeds During Pregnancy: 6 Ways Moms-to-be Can Prevent Them!

As our bellies expand during pregnancy, so can the blood vessels in our noses. There are some ways you can prevent getting a nosebleed:

  • Stay well hydrated.
  • Blow your nose gently.
  • Try to keep your mouth open when you sneeze, but cover it with the tissue.
  • Run a humidifier during the winter months.
  • Avoid irritants such as smoke.
  • Do not use medicated nasal sprays.
