Serve these chocolate treats for dessert or as a sweet snack. They would even make great food gifts during the holidays. Now let's get to making these little chocolate gems!
Cuisine: American
Prep Time 13 minutes
Cook Time: 2 minutes
Chill Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Servings: 24
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted roasted cashews
- 8 ounces dark chocolate (70% or higher), chopped
- pinch of flaky sea salt (optional)
Here's how to make it:
- Line a 24-cup mini muffin tin with baking liners. If you don’t have a mini muffin pan place 24 liners on a cookie sheet. Add 4 to 5 cashews to each liner. (I didn't have mini baking liners so I cut regular holders down in half.)
- In a medium glass or other microwave-safe bowl, place the chocolate and melt in the microwave for three 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted. (I used dark melting chocolate, 72 percent, from a bag.)
- Use a spoon and drizzle the melted chocolate over the nuts. Sprinkle with the flaked sea salt.
- Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set. Store the candy in a refrigerator for up to two weeks. But if it’s like my house they won’t last that long!
