What is it about warm weather that makes us all want to eat peaches and peach desserts? But if you can't find fresh summer peaches, you can still enjoy a juicy, sweet peach dessert like this peach cobbler dump cake. This dump cake recipe is made with canned peaches so it's a year-round peach treat!

To make this easy (super easy!) four-ingredient peach cobbler dump cake recipe you'll need two cans of sliced peaches in heavy syrup, ground cinnamon, a box of yellow cake mix and two sticks of butter. That's it! The ingredients are layered in a 13x9-inch pan and baked until bubbly and golden brown on top.

Serve this amazing sweet peach dump cake for dessert with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.

Recipe Notes

  • This dump cake won't cut as neat as most cakes (it's looser), so serve it in bowls.
  • For even more cinnamon flavor, sprinkle some on top before baking.
  • Store the leftover fruit dump cake covered in the refrigerator and reheat in the microwave.

Here's how to make it:

  1. Drain the peaches, reserving 1/2 cup of the syrup. Spread the peaches evenly in a buttered 13x9-inch baking dish. Pour the reserved heavy syrup over the top of the peaches. Sprinkle with the cinnamon.
  2. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the cinnamon peaches. (Do not stir.)
  3. Pour the melted butter over the top of the cake mix. (Do not stir.)
  4. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 50 minutes or until golden on top. Cool the cake about 10 minutes before serving with vanilla ice cream.
