Peach cobblers are all the rage right now. Why is this peach cobbler recipe magic? Because of the crispy sugary topping that magically appears while it's baking. This old-fashioned peach cobbler is so good – and grandma approved even though it uses canned peaches. (No peeling or pitting required in this shortcut recipe.)

Canned peaches can be found year-round, which makes this cobbler a year-round dessert. All you need to make this sweet peach dessert recipe is canned peaches, butter, granulated sugar, vanilla, milk, flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and cornstarch. The topping forms as the cobbler bakes.

If you can find fresh juicy summer peaches, you can use them in place of the canned peaches. Frozen will work, too. Top warm bowls of the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream and call it a day.
