Tuna salad recipes always get a lot of attention – from our avocado tuna salad to cranberry apple tuna salad to Mediterranean tuna salad. Tuna salad can be made in so many different ways and can be eaten for lunch or as a light dinner. You can make sandwiches or wraps with tuna salad, or serve it on a bed or lettuce with other healthy salad ingredients.

This easy sweet heat tuna salad recipe doesn't have mayonnaise in it and has an explosion of interesting, contrasting flavors. The tuna salad gets a little heat from ground cayenne and some sweetness from brown sugar and grated carrot. You're going to love it.

For this tuna salad recipe you'll need canned tuna (water-packed or oil-packed tuna will work, so use what you like), carrots, green onions, olive oil, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ground cayenne, garlic powder and smoked paprika. Mix the ingredients together, season with salt and black pepper, and it's ready to roll.
