Here's how to make it:
- To make baked apples in the oven, put the apples into a baking pan. Add your fillings. Pour boiling water around the apples. Bake in a preheated 375-degree F oven for 45 minutes.
- To make baked apples in the microwave, put the apples into a microwave-safe casserole dish with a cover. Microwave for 4 minutes. Check the apples. They are ready when soft and tender. You may need to microwave longer, depending on the size of apples, as well as the wattage of your microwave.
