Creamy Green Ranch Salad Dressing Recipe Is Herb-a-licious Sauces/Condiments Salads

Ranch is the typical go-to salad dressing for a lot of folks. But sometimes you need to shake up your ranch game. This tasty green ranch salad dressing recipe is full of fresh herbs, tangy buttermilk and Dijon mustard, lemon and creamy sour cream.

This easy ranch dressing recipe is perfect drizzled over salad greens, stirred into pasta salad, used as a dip for fried appetizers or vegetables, or even spooned over chicken breast or fish. Store the leftovers in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh chives 
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Here's to make it: 

  1. Put the chives, dill, garlic, buttermilk, olive oil, lemon juice and mustard into a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into a bowl.
  2. Stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
