4-Ingredient Chicken Salad Recipe: The Creamiest Chicken Salad Ever Salads Sandwiches Lunch Poultry

Chicken. Whipped cream cheese. Celery or green onion (or both!). Onion powder. That is it. Just four simple ingredients create the most creamy chicken salad you've ever eaten. It's perfect piled on top of lettuce or mounded onto your favorite sandwich bread.

You could add other ingredients to this easy chicken salad recipe. Garlic powder could be used instead of onion powder (or again, a combination). If you like grapes, apples, cherries or other fruit in your chicken salad, toss some in. Walnuts, pecans or almonds could add some crunch. If you like a looser chicken salad, stir in a few tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Ingredients

• 1 rotisserie chicken, chopped or shredded (about 3 to 4 cups)
• 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped cream cheese
• 1/2 cup chopped celery or green onion (or a combination)
• 1 teaspoon onion powder

Here's how to make it: 

1. Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
2. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
