Biscoff Latte Recipe: A Sweet Coffee Latte Recipe Made With the Cookies That Inspired a TikTok Frenzy Beverages
I was recently introduced to Lotus Biscoff cookies on a domestic flight. I felt like the only person on earth who wasn’t familiar with them, as they are apparently enjoyed all over the world! In fact, they’ve been served with coffee in Europe since the 1930s. Biscoff cookies are small, crisp, aromatic shortbread cookies with a flavor of caramel and a unique blend of warm spices, known as Speculoos (or Speculaas).

Ingredients
- 1 shot freshly brewed espresso
- 1 tablespoon cookie butter or Biscoff cookie butter
- 2 Biscoff cookies, crushed, plus more for serving
- 1 cup warm milk
- whipped cream (optional)
- dash of cinnamon (optional)
Here’s how to make it:
- Prepare a shot of espresso.
- Froth a cup of milk at 150 degrees F.
- Add a spoon of warmed cookie butter spread to a 16-ounce coffee mug. Pour the espresso shot and milk froth into the mug and mix together slowly with a spoon.
- Top your latte with whipped cream, if desired. Sprinkle with Biscoff cookie crumbles and a dash of cinnamon. Finish it off with a Biscoff cookie on top.
