Ingredients
- 2 pounds salmon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 lemon, zested and cut into slices
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried dill (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or your favorite fresh herbs)
Here’s how to make it:
- Set the oven temperature to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, dill, salt and pepper.
- Place salmon on top of the foil on the baking sheet. Fold up all four sides of the foil. Drizzle butter mixture over salmon, lay lemon slices on top (if desired) and seal the foil closed.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes and remove from oven. Salmon is fully cooked when it flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with dill, if desired. Serve immediately.
