- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (divided)
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 egg
Here's how to make it:
- Combine the ground beef, 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce, oats, soup mix and egg. Mix well. (Use your favorite barbecue sauce! The BBQ sauce you choose will change the taste and flavor of the meatloaf, sweet, spicy, etc. Try this recipe with ground turkey instead of ground beef.)
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into a casserole dish or loaf pan.
- Bake in a preheated 375-degree F oven for 20 minutes. Top with the remaining barbecue sauce and continue baking 20 to 25 minutes more or until cooked through. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the microwave.
