Boozy Orange Creamsicle Cocktail Recipe: A Grownup Twist on a Childhood Favorite Cocktails Desserts

I recently had a creamsicle float and it took me back to my childhood. It was just as good as I remembered.

It had me thinking – this would make a great cocktail recipe! How refreshing, sweet and delicious, the perfect summer cocktail (OK, dessert cocktail). I hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 0.5 ounces orange liqueur (I used Triple Sec)
  • 4 ounces orange juice
  • 3/4 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup orange sherbet
  • 2 ice cubes
  • orange soda, chilled
  • orange slices (optional)
  • whipped cream (optional)

Here's how to make it: 

  1. Combine ingredients.
  2. Garnish with orange slices and/or whipped cream, if desired.
