Butter, sugar, flour - what more do you need in a cookie? YUM, Donna John !

Me again Donna John!
How BIG should the dough balls be? And the ones in the pic look like they've been crimped around the edge with a fork. 4 1/2c of flour + 1c butter etc is a LOT of dough. How many cookies can one expect to get?
It would be wonderful if you started adding the recipe yields to EVERY recipe. Thanks so much

The recipe card from my grandma's recipe box is above, and the directions are very short and not detailed. Mine dough balls when making cookies are usually about 1 inch. The amount depends on how big you make your cookies. With 1-inch cookies, you could get around 3 1/2. to 4 dozen. Bigger, less, of course.

Can i dump it into a pan to make bars? 🤔

I've never done that before, but it may work. If you do it, please let us know how it turned out for you.
