• 8 slices thick-cut bacon
• 4 slices white bread or 2 hamburger buns, toasted
• butter 
• HP sauce, to taste (you can substitute steak sauce)

Here's how to make it: 

1. Put the bacon onto a broiler pan or wire baking rack in a single layer. Bake in a preheated 400-degree F oven until bacon is cooked, about 20 to 25 minutes. Remove to papers towels. If you can't find thick-cut bacon, use double the amount of regular-cut bacon.
2. Spread the toasted bread or buns generously with butter. Top with bacon slices. Add desired amount of HP sauce. If you can't find HP sauce, you can use your favorite steak sauce.
