- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- Put all the ingredients into a sauce pot. Bring mixture to a boil and cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
- Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring often, until cranberries burst open, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
