Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds beef, cut into cubes (sirloin, stew meat, ribeye, chuck steak, etc.)
- 1/3 cup cooking sherry
- 10 ounces (1 can) cream of mushroom soup
- 8 ounces sour cream

- Combine the sherry, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream and soup mix in a baking dish.
- Stir to combine. Season with a little black pepper.
- Add the beef and stir to coat.
- Cover and bake in a preheated 325-degree F oven for about 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Stir a couple times during the cooking process.
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes or egg noodles. Store any leftover beef tips in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat quickly in the microwave so you don't dry out the meat.
