The ingredient list is incredibly short and simple for this high-protein glazed beef tips recipe: sirloin steak, molasses, apple cider vinegar and crushed red pepper flakes. Plus, you'll need a little vegetable oil to cook them in. The steak pieces are seared until browned and at your desired doneness, then the glaze is poured in to coat. Cook a couple more minutes and you are done.

You could also use ribeye steak or even tenderloin for this steak night dinner. Serve these tender, savory steak tips with mashed potatoes, a salad and your favorite vegetable.

Ingredients

• 1 - 2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 2-inch cubes
• 1/3 cup molasses
• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
• 1/2 - 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
• 2 tablespoons canola oil, for cooking

Here's how you make it:

1. Combine the molasses, vinegar and crushed red pepper flakes in a bowl.
2. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a large skillet and brown the steak on all sides, about 5 minutes total. Remove from the skillet and set aside. (Try this recipe with your favorite type of steak.)
3. Pour the molasses mixture into the skillet and simmer until it gets thick, about 3 minutes, scraping up any brown bits.
4. Add steak back into the skillet and stir to coat. Serve. Store any leftover steak tips in an airtight container in the fridge.
