Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• dash of salt
• 3 eggs
• 1/4 cup melted butter
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 2/3 cup water

Here's how to make it: 

1. Combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk to combine.
2. In another bowl, combine the eggs, butter, buttermilk and water. 
3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients until just combined.
4. Spray a large skillet or griddle with nonstick cooking spray or lightly butter. Pour in the batter and cook about 3 to 4 minutes per side or until cooked through.
