Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 3 cups milk or nut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon, plus more for serving
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Here's how to make it:
- Put the rice, milk, sugar and apples into a saucepot. Cook, stirring, until mixture begins to gently simmer. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring often, about 30 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the cinnamon and vanilla. Spoon into serving bowls and top with additional cinnamon.
